I'm pretty psyched about reading this book. I haven't had time for any books lately so it's always good once and a while to have someone force it upon you i guess. It doesn't sound too bad compared to half the boring stuff i read in highshool. kinda reminds me of six feet under and i enjoy that semi-eery show so we'll see.

I'm kind of excited to read this book (which is something I don't say often). It's seems pretty unconventional to have the main character talk to dead people. I'm curious to see how this might play in the plot. Sometimes its hard for me to get into a book if it's boring or if I can't keep the characters straight, so I'm hoping that it won't be too confusing. There are quite a few shows on TV now where the main character can talk to dead people and they're great shows so I'm hoping the book turns out to be interesting as well.

I like the book so far, I think it is interesting to say the least. It gives a different point of view from someone in a small town, the disfigured one who just happens to have a connection to the dead.
